Le Moulin de la Louve -Charming Ancient Water-mill set in its own 6 acre green valley
Apart from being the perfect place to unwind, clear the mind and cleanse the spirit “Le Moulin de la Louve” is well situated for visiting medieval hilltop towns and villages, unspoilt forests and lakes, celtic stones, burgundy wineyards and more…..
Practice your French in the small village shops and markets in the busy gastronomical town of Saulieu. Where the local butcher will tell you all about the famous “Charolais” beef or the Fromager will explain in depth the merits of the strong-tasting cheese from the local monastry. Dine out in in style at the nearby Bernard Loiseau four star restaurant, or more simply have a great meal on the communual long oak table at the “Café Parisien” or at the many other cafés, restaurants, and auberges situated in Saulieu, a historical stopping-off place between Paris and the South for centuries….
And when you get back to the mill, from a nice long trek in the beautiful surrounding countryside, or an interesting historical visit, enjoy a 'Kir' (Burgundy cocktail made with blackcurrent and white wine) in front of a real log fire. What's important is that you feel at home. And we guarantee plenty of advice and suggestions during your stay (In English or in French!)
The spacious beamed living room with kitchen corner, fireplace, books, music, WIFI, CD's, DVD's, is at our guests disposal.
Your Hostess (Julie-elaine) is a fully trained and professional massage-therapist, aromatherapist, and reflexologist. So why not relax even more by making the most of our treatments during your stay...
All windows look out onto open countryside, wooded park and the little stream which runs through the valley. In summer, breakfast, drinks and meals can be taken on the two outside terrasses or in the stone-edged circular garden area.
We have a family room with large bed and two seperate beds, ensuite shower and private W.C.
And two more double rooms. One of our rooms has it's own private balcony.
Prices:
Bed and Breakfast rates range from 45/59 euros per night for two people including breakfast.
Full one hour massage with essentiel oils 55 euros
Reflexology 35 euros for 30mins treatment
Back and neck massage 20 euros
